This phrase is the main guiding principle of our faculty since its foundation in 1961 and it is the immortal guiding principle of our faculty. We are continuously striving to turn this idea into reality from new points of view congruent with the present age.In 2011, the School of Engineering Sci-ence celebrated its 50th anniversary. In the future, too, we are planning to take further steps towards the development of our school, in order to meet the expecta-tions of all those who encourage and sup-port us.The symbol for the Graduate School of Engineering Science/ School of Engineering Science ΣΣ has the meaning of “summation”. This symbol was selected because the ideal of the School of Engineering Science is represented by Σ (Science and Engineering), namely, the initial S for science (a Greek character), and the initial E of Engineering (E resembles the shape). As of October 1st, 20132014School of Engineering ScienceGraduate School of Engineering Science
