High school students from Thailand visit three research laboratories at the Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University

    Sixteen science course high school students from Suankularb Wittayalai School, a prestigious public secondary school in Bangkok, Thailand visited the Graduate School of Engineering Science at Osaka University on May 20, 2019. As their focus of interest was in Applied Robotics, they had the opportunity to visit three laboratories: Nishikawa Laboratory (Mechanical Science and Bioengineering), Harada Laboratory and Nagai Laboratory (System Science and Applied Informatics).

    The students were excited to be able to experience cutting-edge research experiments being performed in front of their eyes, and enjoyed talking with the graduate students in the labs, who earnestly explained each process.

    Two international students from Thailand, currently studying at the School / Graduate School of Engineering Science, accompanied the visiting group and shared their experiences as international students at Osaka University with them.
