The delegation from Peking University, College of Engineering visit the Graduate School of Engineering Science
The delegation from Peking University, College of Engineering (members of the faculty and students) visited the Graduate School of Engineering Science on July 23, 2019.
Prof. Huiling Duan, (Associate Dean, College of Engineering), Prof. Long Wang and Prof. Moubin Liu met with Prof. Kano (Dean, Graduate School of Engineering Science), Prof. Nakano (Vice Dean) and Prof. Tanaka (Head of the International Planning and Promotions Section) in order to discuss promoting exchange between the two universities as well as moving toward the conclusion of an academic exchange agreement between faculties.
Prof. Umakoshi (Office Chief of the Advisement Office for International Students) gave a presentation explaining the Graduate School of Engineering Science as well as the current international exchange student situation (in-bound) using slides.
Afterwards, our visitors were divided into three groups and each group toured two of our laboratories.

After the tour, Prof. Okabe (Deputy Office Chief of the Advisement Office for International Students) and Prof. Wan (Systems Science and Applied Informatics) conducted the closing meeting. During this meeting, such topics as the outline for a short-term program on the premise that an inter-faculty agreement is made were discussed, and both universities agreed on promoting stronger student exchange in the future.
